Say it’s sew! It’s sew, sew, good…

OK—enough with the terrible puns. But we’re really, really happy about the return of Sew Hungry: Hamilton, ON’s second food truck rally, held on Ottawa Street, in the heart of the city’s historic garment district.

Perennial faves El Gastronomo Vagabundo will be there (we profiled the gourmet taco truck last year), as will newcomers Toasted Tangerine (whom we also featured), along with a host of other trucks old and new.

We’re looking forward to trying out the schnitzel offerings from Caledonia-based Dobro Jesti, the pulled pork parfait from Hank Daddy’s BBQ (!), and a cupcake from Hamilton’s own Cupcake Diner.

If the event is anything like the first Sew Hungry in September, 2011, though, line-ups may be long, and the cupcakes will disappear early.

We’ll eat dessert first.
